Hi everyone! It’s Hailey Jones! I told you a lot of facts about myself the previous time but now I’m going to tell you about my family.

I’m not an only child: I have a 25-year-old sister and a 28-year-old brother, whom I love and appreciate very much. We all are always ready to help and support each other no matter what. Actually, non of my parents comes from a big family but my mom and dad have always wanted their kids to have more relatives than they do.

My mother’s parents are both spaniards but they moved to the USA after they got married because they have always dreamt about living here. Actually, they have met each other by a chance. My great-grandfather needed to pull a shard of glass out of his hand but he couldn’t do it by his own and there was a need in a surgery. My grandmother went to the hospital with him but she didn’t know who was the doctor that was going to perform it and then she saw a surgeon. It was the handsome man her own age. They fell in love, started dating and got married in 6 months.

Also I’d like to tell you about my father’s parents. They both are Americans but they lived in different states when they were young as my grandmother is from Florida and my grandfather comes from Georgia. When he reached 18 years of age, his family moved to Florida because of my great-grandfather’s job so my grandfather entered to University of Florida and that was the exact same place where my grandmother was going to study architecture. They have met each other there and fell in love at first sight. Soon they found out that their feelings were mutual so my grandfather proposed in a year. Every time I think about the fact that they have been married for more than 50 years, I admire their loyalty!

To tell the truth, I try to visit my grandmothers and grandfathers as much as I can but sometimes it’s too dificult because we all live in different states so we rarely see each other. However, there’s always an opportunity to make video calls, which is really cool!

As I mentioned earlier, my brother and sister are older than me. I'd like to tell you a little about their marital status. My sister has a fiance, and their wedding is coming up so my relatives and I are really excited about it. As for my brother, he is married and his wife is such a level-headed woman. They have a wonderful son and I'm so happy to be his aunt!
