Hi everyone!:)
The last week of studies at LUNN was not only a little bit hard but also very exciting! Today I would like to tell you more about it.

  • 1. My discoveries
I learned a lot of interesting information about countries and cultures. For example, there are some phrases like a “melting pot” and “the American Mozaic”, which can be used when we talk about the mixture of languages and cultures. Also I learned names of countries I didn’t know before. Some of them are “Lebanon”, “Croatia” and “The Czech Republic”. Today we were talking about interjections and that was really fun to read conversations with them and try to pronounce them like Americans it do:)
  • 2. My achievements
It’s been only two weeks of studies but I feel like my English is getting better. Now my accent sounds more American and I am so happy with that:) Also I learned American Phonetic Alphabet. It is a really important thing to know because transcription helps to pronounce words correctly.
  • 3. My challenges — and the way to Work on them
There are some things that are a little bit difficult for me. For example, sometimes I make mistakes in a grammar or pronounce words incorrectly. But I’m sure that working and practicing a lot can help me solve these problems.
  • 4. Sharing
I would like to recommend you one of the best dictionaries, which can help you in such a situation, in which you don’t know how to pronounce a word or want to find out its meaning: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/

Thanks for your attention!
