Hello!:) My name is Hailey Claire Jones and I’m an aspiring fashion designer. I am 19 years old. I was born on 28th of July in Columbia, South Carolina. Before telling you more things about my personal life, I’d like to tell you a little about my family, which I appreciate so much. My mom works as a history teacher in the University of South Carolina. My dad is a director of IT-company, in which my elder brother also works; he is a programmer. I have a sister too. She works as a dentist in “Devine Dentistry”. I guess you are wondering right now, why did I choose such a creative profession? The answer is simple: I’ve been fond of drawing clothes since my childhood. I was 15 when my parents and I decided that I’m not that person who can be a doctor because I’m afraid of blood; being a lawyer or even a teacher is a really big responsibility which is a disadvantage for me. That’s how we decided that I should send my portfolio to Parsons School of Design. After 3 weeks my dream came true! I was entered to the school! All I needed is to move to New York, which was difficult for me because that meant I won’t see my family and friends soon. However, that was the only way I could reach my goals so parting was inevitable. In a month I found a comfortable apartment in New York near Parsons School of Design and rented it. Luckily my neighbours were really friendly:) The two ninteen-year-old girls and I were watching films and going for a walk almost every evening. As for the first year at the School, it was amazing!
The most memorable thing that happened to me at that time was winning The Fusion Fashion Show!!! My prize was a free ticket to New York fashion week!
By the way, I think I need to tell you more about what’s going on in my life now except being a sophomore. Well, everyone often asks me about my marital status, so I’d like to finally answer this question. I’m single because all I care about now is my career. Maybe in a year I will be ready to date someone but now isn’t the right time. You don’t know anything about my hobbies too, so I’d like to tell you about them. I really like watching TV series and my favorite one is “How I met your mother”. Besides, I am fond of travelling and I hope one day I’ll visit Paris:)
